It is one of his personal favorites to combine with the Neuropuncture body system and together is a fantastic integrative approach in rehabilitating the nervous system back to health. In this webinar Dr. Corradino presents his Auricular Neuropuncture system. It is one of his personal favorites to combine with the Neuropuncture body system and together is a fantastic integrative approach in rehabilitating the nervous system back to health. For such a tiny area, and so easily accessible, you wouldn’t think it could impact the brain and the body so incredibly. The Auricular Neuropuncture system is a very simple, systematic, neuroanatomical auricular acupuncture solution. NeuroLab-Webinar 15: Neuropuncture’s Approach to Opioid Treatment.
We have been dealing with a national opioid health crisis for over a decade now. I have personally witnessed an intense, and aggressive, approach to the widespread opioid addiction epidemic where many patients are having their opioid medication prescriptions abruptly reduced due to the DEA ‘s pressure on prescribing physicians. This is leaving patients having to deal with opioid withdrawal on their own which can lead to ER visits, but also street opioid purchases and increase risk of heroin addiction. Neuropuncture has some very effective protocols and approach to titrating opioid medication with the support and approval of the prescribing MD. We can target electro-acupuncture’s effects directly at the involved opioid receptors, as well as other affected regions of the brain, in an effort to rehabilitate them during the titration process. Utilizing neuroscience evidence-based Neuropuncture electro-acupuncture prescriptions, the practitioner is able to target the dopaminergic and serotonin systems, as well as the GABA and benzodiazepine receptor rich regions of the brain. This helps to minimize the withdrawal symptoms, as we can also guide treatment to support any other specific patient needs.
